The UPEI Bookstore has primary responsibility for ensuring that UPEI and AVC trademarks are used only with permission and appropriately and accurately displayed on approved merchandise. UPEI's official trademarks include the UPEI Coat of Arms, UPEI logo/wordmark, UPEI Panthers logo/wordmark, Atlantic Veterinary College logo/wordmark. As well as the following names: University of Prince Edward Island, University of PEI, UPEI or U.P.E.I., UPEI Panthers, Atlantic Veterinary College, AVC or A.V.C. 

The UPEI Bookstore is the number one supplier for special orders of UPEI and AVC crested clothing and giftware. If your club, society, department, or residence is interested in ordering clothing or other items please give us a call, email or stop by and see us. With sufficient notice we can do a special order for just about anything your group needs. The UPEI Bookstore should always be given the first opportunity to supply members of the campus community with specialty UPEI or AVC items. Requests to create custom merchandise should be directed to the UPEI Bookstore.

If the Bookstore cannot supply the item, or cannot supply it at a competitive price, we may provide permission for the requestor to have the merchandise produced elsewhere.  Arrangements must be made to ensure that visual identity guidelines are respected, permission for use of the trademarks has been obtained, and the University receives the appropriate royalties. A Trademark Authorization form must be completed and signed off by the UPEI Bookstore in these cases.
